[T2] Disc brakes dragging

I disconnected the vacuum from the manifold and guess what? The brakes take
a lot of push to make them work.
I drove around for about 15 minutes and the brakes did not pump up or drag.
I suppose there is something wrong with my year and half old booster. Not a
particularly repairable item.
Any other opinions? Thanks Guys. Especially Steve B.
