[T2] discharge warning light

Robert,
In the older buses and bugs the generator light is often noticed to be
glowing faintly. I have seen this on my old bus in years past,
especially when I had the 6V generator in use. In ancient times there
was much discussion about this on the list. As I recall, installing a
silicon diode in series with the lamp would eliminate this ghost.  Being
that your battery remains charged to a fair level, I would presume that
your alternator is working well enough to provide charging current.
