[T2] Seat frames

"One more amateur question: I am refurbishing seats. I have taken off old,
cleaned up and repainted frames." 

 

Hey Mikah, 

When redoing your seats, if you stripped and repainted the frames - be sure
to throw some sort of wax coating on them. If you just have bare painted
springs, they will creak and squeak.

 

I think there are a few different options on giving them a waxy coating -
maybe waxoyl? Not sure but you should find some info on it in the archives
or on Google.
