[VB] Bus in Modesto? (Kevin Guarnotta)

One of my and my wife's favorite/former vehicles, the 1985 Wolfsburg Weekender.

- I had to pull the gas tank and replace the overflow/crossflow lines and gaskets, flush tank due to contaminants. Resulted in a scar on my thumb.
- Had a coolant leak somewhere and I would need to ‘burp’ the radiator lines every so often. Which required finding an uphill curb to ride up on and then vent the radiator. I replaced the water pump and all the plastic components and seals - which helped a great deal.
- I could never figure out what the proper oil weight was for Texas summers - I should have gone with a wide-viscosity synthetic. Eventually I had a lifter failure. the heads just started to leak, so the new owner pulled and installed rebuilt heads. Strong motor though - went to serve many more years.
