good advice.

1.. plugged holes that  give no problem should in my opinion be left 
alone, 
I had to rebuild an engine because one came out.

2. you have good compression so blue smoke if only at start up lets you 
know the engine started.  I personally wouldn't mess with it considering 
the compression readings.

3. some things are just so hard to  get to and wear that it makes sense to 
replace em when you are in there. advice was good. unless you ride the 
clutch or have a spring break presure plates seem to last forever.  throw 
out the throwout bearing etc.
