Cool – thanks.

So…make sure I got this correct -

  1.  Remove access panels (already done).
  2.  Then drain tank -somehow. I can figure that out.
  3.  Remove petcock on bottom of tank (I assume this is similar to that which is on an earlier bus? I’ve done the on my ’65)
  4.  Then remove filling connectors, and disconnect straps. If bolts won’t budge – cut them, not straps.
  5.  Then gas gauge connectors…etc.
  6.  It will fit through access panels.

Yes, you remove it from inside the treasure chest. Gotta get it drained and I think remove the fitting from the bottom of the tank.Remove the access panels. If straps won't come loose, it might be better to cut the bolts than to cut the straps. Then of course you have to unhook the inlet hose. I think there might be vent hose on top too.
