Sounds like your carburetor “might “need a cleaning. I assume you swapped out your inline fuel filter.
Been there , done that.

Did AAA cover it?

When the Orange Beast dies a half mile from home, I called AARP (Mobil) for a tow and when I explained what I had (74 Bay), they said it wasn’t covered.  I believe they were treating like a van.

Myles died 1/2 mile from home today and I had to call AAA. There is plenty of fuel to the fuel pump and the pump is doing its job.
He tried to start a number of times if I waited a few minutes between each try.
I'm going to change the condenser in AM. If that doesn't work, I'll look at the coil to see if I'm getting spark and go from there.
