early bay have a taper spline,, very difficult to get apart without force.
late bay are straight,, and will probably come loose once the nut is off..

there is no bolt holding a bay steering wheel on.. and if you are doing a 
late bay,, leave the nut on loose when wacking from underneath so you don't 
get the steering wheel in the nose. lol
