[T2] 1971 bus Muffler replacement

Hi Anthony,
I found the clamps at a site in Arizona. They were expensive. Even on sale they were over $8.00 each. The shipping was another $9.50 for 3 day shipping. I just want to finish the installation so I can move on to something else.
I found that the PO cut 2 wires. One goes to the 4-way flashers an the other goes to the front driver's side turn signal. I have no idea why he did that, but I'm going to restore those wires with the same color code. Maybe that will help solve the problem withe the non working turn signals

I have everything connected except for the gaskets that go into the heater boxes. The mustache bar gets n the way when I try to install the clamps over the wire ring. Any suggestions?
