[T2] Engine intermittently turns off while coming to a stop

Try putting vice grips on the large vacuum hose that leads to the brake booster. This will cut off the vacuum to the booster and stop the leak when you apply the brakes.

If you no longer find the engine idle dropping then you found your leak.

Of course since that vacuum hose is large and long check it for cracks as well.

I had the same issue and ended up changing out the brake booster.
