That really worked? What are the details on the inverter? It seems to
be generally accepted that the cheap "modified sine-wave" inverters do
not do very well powering refrigerators and other devices that are (at
least I always thought they were) sensitive to the shape of the a/c
waveform. OTOH I have seen a few "true sine wave" inverters with
reasonable prices lately, did you by chance get one of those?
