I think, this list has got you smart enough to have a spare of something. Then, we have only encouraged you to do your own things. This way you were protected by yourself, through the inspiration of the Great Vanagon List. Thankfully, I was able to push it into a parking lot and get out of the traffic. Then, due to the internal wisdom I have gathered from this list over the past several years I didn't panic and pulled out my spare cable. I had purchased it for my ill-fated trip to Inuvik but it came in handy today. It took me about an hour to remove the old cable, grease and insert the new one, hook up the carb linkage, and smile. I just wanted to publicly acknowledge the helpfulness that this list provides in the long run. Happy bussing everyone, Max -- Max Bronsema '71 Westy "KK-Louise" _______________________________________________ type2 mailing list type2 at type2.com https://www.type2.com/lists/type2/listinfo
