Have you ever replaced the injectors? My understanding is that injectors come in many flavors and the computer just tells the injectors to cycle frequently or infrequently depending on the load on the engine. If you have injectors that are too big, then it may only cycle 5000 times for a set load/time/speed as the factory intended but it might be squirting twice the amount of gasoline. Another idea - have you removed the injectors to see if they are leaking? Fuel pressure high? Are you sure that your odometer, which is half of the fuel economy equation, is accurate enough? Maybe it is getting a reasonable fuel economy but your number of miles driven is incorrect? just some ideas to chase. Chris in TN
