[T2] Rear Brake Backing Plate, '70

Greetings,

What are my options regarding replacing the backing plates on the rear wheels of a '70? ('71 and up is easy.)

Also, I'm having trouble separating it from the bearing housing. I've removed the bolt holding the cylinder and the two holding the adjuster. I've separated it around the shaft but it's stuck under the adjuster. Do I pry it off? I'm I missing something.
