Sorry, need some bus content. I was driving what is now my bus. It had a 1600cc engine, single port with 28-PICT carb. A slightly larger main jet was installed. Exhaust headers by ??? with a glass pack muffler. The headers had cast on ends to fit onto the heads at 2 and 4. Wish I still had those along with the steel heater hose extensions that really fit nicely on the heat exchangers. The engine upgrade was done by Reitmeier's Werkstadt in Los Altos, CA. I think we were doing 25 mph in second gear up the mountain on Hwy 80. Really wound it out. Cheers Kevin, Chris ----- Original Message ----- From: "C. Dreike" <c.dreike at verizon.net> Hey Kevin, Very nice. I practically learned to drive on that Mountain View (actually Sunnyvale next door) to Tahoe route. We did it with 7 or 8 people (my folks and us kids) in the bus and ski gear on top ( or was it inside with us, can't remember). Good to hear that you had a great time!!
