true, but you need a double relay to run an electric fuel pump, since
there is no place to put a manual fuel pump on a 2L engine so it is not a
part that can be eliminated.
the double relay is not part of the EFI but the switch that turns it on,
in other words it is no more electronic than the headlight switch
