[VB] Starter rebuild

Hi Ric,
Would help to know if you get a click or complete silence from the starter when it fails to turn engine over.

First make sure both ends of both battery cables are clean of corrosion and apply dielectric grease to keep away oxygen and thusly corrosion away for as long as possible.  Replace any suspect battery cable, or if the battery clamp end has been cut off and one of those bolt on ends installed.  Do same cleaning and dielectric grease to the transaxle to body cable on BOTH ends.  
   Clean and dielectric grease the surfaces that the starter and transaxle bolt together.

If you still need a starter rebuild after all of that, open your phone book up and look for starter/alt./gen. repair shop in your area.
