Hi John,
Probably not well for both engine longevity and MPG due to too high of RPMs.  Standard late small nut = lower geared than standard large nut.  .89 means lower geared Beetle fourth instead of higher geared .82 fourth gear.

Otherwise insufficient data.....  ;-)

 
So do you have early, late, 1963 one ton, or mountain geared small nuts???  What is a 2.05 tire??  2.05 inches?

Picked up my rebuilt centre section Friday it's a 3.44 RP, 1st is 10:38 - 3.8; 
2nd is 17:35 - 2.05; 3rd is  50:63 - 1.26; 4th is 60:53 - .89. What's all that 
mean? And with small nut redux boxes and. 2.05 tires with a fresh 1600 sp - will 
I cruise at 65?
