[T2] CHT probe & spark plug seal

Volks,

For those of you running CHTs with spark plug (SP) probes: 

How do you ensure the rubber seal on the spark plug wire adequately/completely seals the hole in the tin for the SP?

Mine seems to leave a gap with the probe wire coming out, although maybe they're just old wires with old rubber seals that aren't pliable enough anymore...

Just curious...
