[T2] Quick Heat exchanger question

Just a sanity check.

The spring-loaded flap on the heat exchanger will cause it to vent the heated air to the outside, correct?

If you want to vent the heated air to the cabin of the vehicle, then you must press the flap lever against the spring tension.

It's that time of year and I'm going to to just zip-tie them up to keep the hot air inside the vehicle.
