[T2] gas gauge

Interesting discussion. I have had kind of the opposite problem for years
now, in that the gauge goes to full when I fill up, but drops to the bottom
by the time I have about half a tank left. It went this way overnight - it
was not a gradual change.

I've been assuming the sender is at fault but I haven't got round to
changing it yet. Is it possible that this could be a gauge fault as well?
This is on a late bus.
