That has got to be it, I must be too booring for them as I logged in 
yesterday and ordered a part and an hour or so later got a shipping 
confirmation.
I just tried and it logged in fine.  (Linux/Firefox)

however the entire internet has been sluggish at times the last couple 
days.   must be NSA bug
