Road testing instruction
- Increase tire pressure to 3 psi above normal tire pressure
- Engine and transmission must be warm
- Level, dry asphalt road surface
- Normal wind conditions
- Take average readings from one run in each direction
- Check maximum speed where legally permitted on a measured test stretch
(1 mile) with a stop watch
- Find actual speed from speed tables and compare with speedometer to
find variation
