TOUR CONTINUES THROUGH

CENTRAL CANADA

The Tour continues through Central Canada with Phil Gowdy handing off to Collison Corner . Phil gave the Tour Secretary a minor heart attack when he said that he was going to hand off to whomever wanted the Hubcap but all's well that ends well and the Tour is definitely back on track and in the capable hands of Mr. Corner who will be delivering the Hubcap to Dave Ireland . Collie made a comment about the increased size of the Tour Box and it is our hope that this particular configuration will work out and that more people will get to enjoy the many mementos donated by all the participants.

Phil's trip reports appear below and because he was kind enough to donate a new one-use camera there will be more photos down the line.

Phil's First Trip Report

Hi.
Just returned from a short camping trip with my family in the bus.
Left Strathroy on Wed. morning , fully loaded and headed north.
We drove to Collingwood and found a small provincial campsite at Craiglieth.
No probs with the bus but the hills sure slowed us down! 45 miles per max on
some of them.
I was concerned holding the throttle down for very long and eased up a bit.
After stoping i checked the dip stick for a temp check and it was only quite
warm. No problems.
Drove 4 hrs home today and just finished unpacking.
I'll deliver the hub cap to the KW show tomorrow and hand it over to whoever
asks for it.

Look for the orange 73 Contraption.

See Ya

Phil's Second Trip Report

Hi All.

I'm pleased to announce I just returned from the KW Bug Out and handed
off the baton to Colission Corners.
He will forward it to Dave Ireland next week.
The show was mostly a washout with rain all day.
At least 15 busses showed. Good turnout considering the weather.
I even won a cool door prize. 2 40 channel walkie talkies. They'll be great
for travelling.
Just wanted to keep everyone in touch about the tour.
