We met up with Skip Correll and his wife around 10 am on Friday, November 26, 1999 (the day after Thanksgiving) in Woodstock, GA- I-75 and GA 92. It was a bit cold and misty, but we hung around outside our Buses at a gas station talking about VW's and comparing ours. Someone in a Beetle (air-cooled) stopped in for a few minutes of discussion as well.
Skip handed over the baton and case and explained the procedure. Later that day we met up with Chris Huff and her friend Eddy at the Kennesaw, GA location of the Varsity. Another VW Bus family stopped in and we had three Buses lined up outside the restaurant.
The Snoopy Woodstock ornament, Woodstock birthday card and the Varsity hat and a picture of the Buses in front of the Varsity are the items we added to the case.
