COMMENTS: I'm not typical, I guess that's not too far of a stretch. I was born in
Miami, travelled a bunch and I'm still not sure if I know how to spell travel, and ended
up in California, where I'm trying to finish out school. I work as a video game
tester. I'm 27 years old, and I like to stay up late. Coffee sounds good, but
it's got to be an independent coffee shop, IHOP, or Denny's, I don't particularly care for
corporate coffee shops. I don't watch television very often either.
Anyway, the bus, I got it for 400, it wasn't running, I ripped the interior out and redid
it myself. I redid this whole thing by hand, using a really small saw, mostly a
cutting blade (razor blade) and a battery operated drill. It's amazing the things
you can do with little kits. I've still got some minor body work to do, but the bus
is in excellent running condition. I've also got to do a bit of rewiring. I
ghetto rigged it most of the way, I have a bathroom door stopper to lock one of the doors,
and I don't even use a key to start it up. I like homemade things. It's
name... Captain Balding, due to the missing luggage rack in the front. The top pops
straight up, and the spare tires are eventually going to make a hat up on the top.
Anyway, it's been a long time in the works, and I don't even have a garage, all things
considered, I think I've done a pretty good job with it so far.
Even though I say I can't provide a camping spot, I can find a great place to park most of
the time.

improvising repairs to get you up and running if you're broken-down with
something relatively minor. I have a few parts, glass, bolts, fuses, and a
