COMMENTS: We've only had our baby Type 2 for a year or so, so PLEASE don't call us for mechanical advice.  All we can tell you is what's in books you probably already have.  We are willing to do a roadside rescue, however.  We also have a few basic parts (filters, belts, clamps, and ALWAYS lots of oil).  We are currently in an apartment because we are new to the state, so we don't have space for people or their buses, but we will soon.
