COMMENTS: I'm pretty much a '70s VW fan. Space to work on your bus or a place to
camp are available only if you are willing to work in the street and camp there too --
that's what I do. Cabbagetown is VW friendly, however; so nobody's likely to freak
on you if you are working on or sleeping in your car in the street here. The Carroll
Street Bakery (closeby) is the best place to get a cup of coffee in Atlanta. I have
lots of spare parts now; though I hope to have many fewer soon, as I have little storage
space.

VW'S: 1978 transporter, not currently running
COMMENTS: I'm definitely a newbie here...I'm about to undertake the restoration
of a 1978 transporter, or at least get it running and functional again, after
which I'll be taking on a road trip along a good bit of the eastern seaboard.
In the meantime, I'm living in the Atlanta area with a set of basic tools, a
fair amount of engine experience, and a willingness to help if I can. I'm
an amateur radio operator , KI4APH, and a couch that's pretty comfortable.
I'm mainly interested in meeting the folks in this community online, in the off
