No, this page won't help you get a date. It will, however, give you a glimpse of some rather rare beasts (at least here in the U.S.), namely single and double cab pickups and synchro pickups. WooHoo!
Michael Heron sent me these pictures of some interesting type II's he spotted at this past August's (95) Great Canadian Bug Show in Canada. There are apparently several of the Vanagon crew cabs running around the Great White North, but unfortunately neither Michael nor I own one.
From Michael: All of the crew cabs that are in the pic's are actually owned by a rich old collector (every city seems to have one!) here in Toronto by the name of Bob Sparks. that tri-star synchro was trailed to and from the show :( (being towed by a ford pick-up no less!)
These next five pics were snapped by the parents of Dean Aukes during trips to Germany. Many of these appeared to belong to the city. Double cabs are alive and well!
