Some pictures of my Capri. I bought it in 1988 and scoured the yards for years to find parts for it. Except for the cracked dash and faded dash facia, it's in great shape inside. It was painted blue in 1992 by Maaco (originally it was silver). I've always liked blue Capris.

Modifications to the car include the following:

• '74 2.8 engine (in place of the original 2.6)
• American Racing 15x7 alloy wheels
• 195/50VR15 tires
• Gabriel air shocks in rear (I know, I know... :->)
• DOBI headers (junk) and Ansa dual exhaust
• Offenhauser 4-barrel intake
• Aluminum rack and pinion bushings
• Aluminum steering coupler
• Dobi 25mm front sway bar
• Polyurethane sway bar/control arm bushings
• Custom one-piece drive shaft with servicable U-joints

I sold this car on April 10th 1998 to David Valone, a fellow Capri enthusiast in Montana. He plans on putting a better engine in the car and getting it repainted. I never thought I could sell this car, but knowing it was going to a good home made it somewhat bearable.
