Subject: [T2] RE: fire extinguisher info wanted

	Hello,

A good addition to the fire extinguisher is a cable cutter, large enough
to cut a battery cable. In case of fire cut one of the battery cables as
soon as possible. When cable insulation melts from the heat of the fire you
get a good shortcut, when a lot of cables have melted there is no guarantee
that the fuses helps. Glowing cables can reignite the fire as long as
there's any juice left in the battery. A small fire extinguisher is only
enough to put out one fire in the very beginning.
I'm an electrician so I normally carries several cable cutters in my car.
In the bus, nowdays retired to leisure trips only a cable cutter is
attached to the extinguisher holder.
